I don't recall working with this color combination in the past--it is so soothing and serene. I love contrasting the earthy red river turquoise with the frilly sparkle of clustered rondelles. I set the red river heart on its side and added a dendritic agate to counterpoint. It appears the dendritic branching pattern is growing out from the brown matrix of the turquoise. In addition, I've added 3 tourmalines in greens and a pale taupe, fanning outward from the agate. At the base of the turquoise is a fringe of brown tourmaline, emeralds, sky blue topaz and amazonite on 14k gold. Bezel on the dendritic agate is 22k and all silver is argentium with enhanced tarnish resistance.
The ring focal measure 7/8 of an inch wide and 1 1/8 inches tall.
The simple 3mm width band measures a US size 6 and features a hammered, textured edge which gives the band a subtle ruffled appearance.
