The colors in the boulder opal are reflected in the surrounding stones in this growth series necklace. Raw edges of the amethyst stalactite are wrapped in silver and a lush cluster of amethyst rondelles and mandarin garnet erupts between the amethyst and a dendritic agate with fernlike patterns in soft orange. 18k gold and silver botanical details sprout from the clusters while the boulder opal and amethyst oval resemble flower buds with leafy detail. The pendant measures 1 3/4 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches high. The chain adjusts from 16 to 18 inches.
