A curious thing about this opal--It is meant to be displayed from the other side which is polished and domed. However--I just loved the flashier back side and I think the matte finish works so well with this window setting. I've set it inside a petal of argentium silver with sky blue topaz, london blue topaz, peridot and blue sapphires dancing along the outer edge. Opposite is botswana agate with soothing striations of white and gray. The pendant slides along the chain that adjusts from 16 to 18 inches. The pendant measures just under 1 3/4 by 1 3/8 inches.
