A gorgeous landscape is miraculously depicted in this half moon cut of brazilian agate. The stone inspired me to create an imaginative piece. I set the agate in 18k solid gold atop a base of sterling silver. 18k gold spokes descend in various lengths from the base of the stone and terminate in 3mm and 5mm white topaz, tube set in fine silver. In addition, I added a lush fringe of lapis lazuli rondelles on 18k gold headpins along the bottom edge of the stone.
Sterling silver chains support the pendant with a lapis lazuli briolette accent wrapped asymmetrically to one side with 18k gold wire. The chain adjusts from 18 to 20 inches and closes with a simple hook clasp and extender chain, also embellished with a briolette of lapis.
Absolutely, positively, one-of-a-kind. Fabricated with my two hands in my home studio.
