This black opal is INSANE! Changes appearance and color so drastically with many layers and depths of flashy color. It can appear an almost solid midnight blue and then the slightest turn of your hand in the light and flashes of royal and aqua and violet appear. I took scads of photos to show the variation...
It is wrapped in warmest 22k gold and set on a base of oxidized silver with gold dots along the edge. A LUSH fringe of lapis, black spinel and apatite frame the lower edge. The simple oxidized silver band is 3 1/2mm in width and measures a 6 1/2.
