This Queensland-mined Australian fossilized wood opal dispays gorgeous uv purple and blue flash. There is slight crazing but this opal is not unstable in any way. I've wrapped this stunner in 22k gold and set it on 22k gold/silver bimetal with a silver band that measures 4 3/4.

The fringe stones are pink sapphires, tanzanite, orange spessartite garnet, blue topaz and a mexican fire opal.
