This is the second lavender and sunrise-orange combination in a row but this time I've left the silver bright, rather than oxidize it. The 12.7 ct amethyst sage agate is a dendritic purple chalcedony from northern Nevada. I've placed it next to a gorgeous boulder opal with lovely uv color and scenic inclusions of the stone matrix seen below. A somewhat ombre oval of snakeskin agate in a cheery orange sits at the bottom with a rhodolite garnet flower sitting adjacent. I fused and soldered silver wires to form the sprout-like growths and added 18k gold discs to an imaginary plant stem above.
At the center is a cluster of gem rondelles on 14k headpins--amethyst, pink sapphire, rhodolite garnet and orange garnet. The doubled rolo chain adjusts from 16 to 18 inches with a simple hook clasp and extender chain.
The silver is argentium silver for enhanced tarnish resistance and the assurance of 100% recycled silver.
The pendant measures 1 3/4 by 1 3/4 inches.
