A pair of gorgeous Australian opals with flecks of aqua green and blue are wrapped in 22k gold bezels and sit on circles of 18k gold/silver bimetal.* A cluster of apatite on 14k gold headpins provides the perfect accent. Below dangles flowers carved into a soft green chrysoprase framed in silver on the back with 18k gold prongs reaching round to hold fast in the front. Earposts are 14k gold and silicon/14k earnuts provide security and comfort.
These dangle about 1 3/4 inches in length and measure 5/8 of an inch at the widest point.

*Bimetal features a layer of high-karat 18-karat yellow gold pressure-bonded to a layer of bright sterling silver. The front of the piece shows the gold layer and the back is silver. This is a cost-efficient way to achieve the warm look of gold jewelry.
