This fascinating opal was mined in Queensland and weighs over 48 carats. It is set in silver with a lush fringe of tanzanite, pink sapphire, arizona turquoise, blue topaz and rhodolite garnet gemstone beads. I suspended the opal on a substantial chain to do it justice that is adjustable from 15 to 18 inches.
Pendant measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/4. Fine silver and argentium silver.
