The rich chocolate brown of the boulder opal host stone works so well with the blues of lapis and topaz and they combine in this botanically inspired necklace.
At the center, two flowers branch. Lapis lazuli is enfolded by oxidized silver petals with fused details and and 18k gold and silver cap. To the right is a boulder opal set with 14k prongs on a textured silver flower-like base.
Moving outwards another boulder opal is surrounded by five smoky quartz. The boulder opal is rimmed in 18k gold wire on oxidized silver. Opposite is a blue topaz (contains a natural inclusion that does not detract from its beauty) also rimmed with an 18k gold wire with one sky blue topaz, a 2mm blue sapphire and 2/5mm teal sapphire set in 18k.
The chain adjusts from 17 1/2 to 19 1/2 inches with a simple hook clasp and extender chain.
