I've paired a vibrant blue and black boulder opal wrapped in 22k gold, with a splotchy larimar--fantastic. Both stones are set off by deeply oxidized flower petals that surround. I build the flowers petals by fusing argentium silver wire and sheet.
An oval blue topaz and round turquoise wrapped in 22k gold bezels highlight one side of the pendant and gold dots and a deep blue sapphire the other. Clusters of turquoise, amazonite and kyanite fill the space between the two flowers on 14k pins.
A doubled sterling chain adjusts from 16 to 18 inches.
The pendant measures just under 2 1/4 inches across and 1 5/8 inches long.
