This dynamic boulder opal has stripey swaths of caramel potch crossing over green flashy opal. I've wrapped it in 22k gold and set it on a swirled band of oxidized silver. I've added lots of silver dots and a couple gold for contrast.
This is a solid boulder opal from central Queensland Australia, weighing 2.53 carats, with dimensions of 14.34mm x 8.60mm and a thickness of 3.77mm.
The band fits like a 7 1/2 due to the width.
