This montana moss agate focal stone displays what looks like to me as a gorgeous feather--entirely natural! I chose to set it simply in a silver wire frame (in the back) with 18k solid gold prongs. The handmade gemstone cluster chain was made by linking sky blue and swiss blue topaz, tanzanite, aquamarine and citrine stones together, one-by-one, with argentium* sterling silver headpins--it took hours!
The chain is adjustable from 16 to 18 inches and the focal measures 1 3/4 of an inch in diameter.
Absolutely, positively, one-of-a-kind, handmade in my home studio.
*Argentium sterling silver is a silver alloy where most of the copper has been replaced by germanium which lends greatly enhanced tarnish resistance over standard sterling. It is .935 silver--more pure silver than .925 sterling. In addition, argentium sterling is produced using only recycled silver.
