Color, color and more amazing color! Indonesian Fossilized Coral is from the Miocene Age--approximately 20 million years ago! It is found in the coastal mountains of Sumatra and Java. I've set this amazing stone in 18k gold atop a bezel of argentium sterling silver (tarnish resistant). I then framed the stone with lush clusters of semi-precious stones to bring out the colors present in the fossil coral--pink and yellow sapphires, spinel and rhodolite garnet are all set on 18k gold headpins. The hammered textured silver band measures a US size 9 1/4. The triangular stone is set at an angle on the band.
