This piece features a fascinating combination of elements. The main focal stones are an amethyst with lepidocrocite on the left, with a luscious red garnet on the right. They are wrapped in bezels of 22k gold on stacked layers of oxidized silver and 22k.
Between the two stones is a cluster of amethyst and garnets on 14k pins. Below are various briolette cuts of garnet, pyrite (fool's gold) and super seven and wispy gold chains.
The cabochon portion of the focal measures 2 inches wide and 7/8 of an inch long. The wispy chains and dangling briolettes make the full length of the pendant 2 1/4 inches.
The pendant is suspended by a combination of chain weights in oxidized silver with a simple hook clasp and extender chain measuring 16 3/4 to 18 3/4 inches. A faceted lilac amethyst accents the extender chain.
