This necklace features a montana moss agate backed in mother of pearl for subtle reflection. I've set it in 22k gold on a backplate of sterling silver that I oxidized to near black. Along the lower edge I added a decorate edge of wire ornaments modeled after a traditional embroidery stitch--the french knot. Then I added some gold dots for contrast and accent. The chain adjusts from 16 to 18 inches with a hook clasp and extender chain.
