I wanted to celebrate the delicate botanical details of this dendritic agate heart with lush clusters of stones, dramatic color and wispy chains. A boulder opal, amethyst, rhodolite garnet and brown tourmaline are set in oxidized silver and suspended from the chain with leafy vine details. I wrapped a multitude of semi precious stones in silver and 14k gold and wove cascades to dangle lightly on either side. Below the dendritic heart is a fascinating faceted briolette of andalusite.
The pendant measures 1 1/4 inches wide and the longest wispy chain dangles 2 1/2 inches long. This necklace adjusts from 16 to 18 inches.
