The opal doublet is a moody navy blue with black stripes and flecks of teal blue and green. I've wrapped it in 22k gold and set it against a backdrop of blackened silver for drama and contrast. Along the long edge of the opal is a gemstone fringe made up of lapis lazuli, black spinel, apatite, tsavorite garnet and swiss blue topaz on 14k gold. Measures size 8 that can be stretched to 8 1/2.
