This opal shell doublet is pretty amazing. The pinks you see in the photos that the camera captured aren't visible to my eye, but the camera caught them--a gorgeous opal with deep royal blue, violet, green and teal. I set it in a bezel of 18k gold and soldered it to a base of 22k gold bi-metal--a layer of 22k gold on top and sterling silver below. The chain is 18k gold and measures 17 1/2 inches. The fringe of semi-precious stones includes lapis, swiss blue topaz, tanzanite, apatite and tsavorite garnet. Stunning!
