This solid Australian boulder opal shimmers through all of the pastel colors. I decided to set it simply in 22k on a silver base and create a handmade chain of wrapped and linked gemstone beads. Opal, pink sapphire, aquamarine, tanzanite, tourmaline (pink, green and watermelon), blue topaz and green kyanite are individually wrapped and woven with 14k pins and linked to form a chain.
Opal focal measures 1 x 5/8 of an inch and the chain adjusts from 15 1/2 to 17 1/4 inches with gold hook clasp and extender chain.
