Red rutile needles dart asymetrically through this long, pear-shaped quartz. I've set it completely in oxidized silver and added a cluster of red garnet and red spinel at the base.
The 4mm wide band has a hammered edge and measures an 8 1/4. The stone and cluster measure 7/8 by 1 3/8 of an inch.
