Well, I'll say it right here. I have WAY too many opals waiting to be made into jewelry. But when I saw these little, bitty clouds I grabbed three!
It is a 2.81 carat wood replacement crystal opal with lovely purple-blue tone and a few flashes of aqua at the surface. It is wrapped in a 22k gold bezel on a 18k gold and silver bimetal cloud underneath. Tanzanite and amazonite drip below.
The 14k chain measures 17 inches.
